As Parents and Professionals within education, it is important for us to understand what children are doing online, so we can help to make them safer. Aberdeen City Council are delighted to invite you to download our new Safer Schools App provided by our local authority insurance provider Zurich Municipal. The App is designed to support and protect children by educating and empowering them both at school and at home. Through their log-in, pupils, parents and staff can get access to information that is relevant to them including tips and advice on how to keep our children safer online and how they can keep themselves safe.
Are you ready to make our children and young people safer? If you are, follow these steps to get yourself and your child started in the Safer Schools App:
Parents/Carers Sign-in Information: To sign into the App, parents/carers must first download the app, either the Android or ios version from Google Play or the App Store by searching for “Safer Schools” on your mobile phone, iPad or tablet, and then select “Middleton Park Primary” and then enter the code: Primary Parent/Carer: 7440. Scan the QR code below it will take you into the app. There is a different code if your child is in secondary school.
Pupil Sign-in Information: To sign into the App, pupils must first download the app, either the Android or ios version version from Google Play or the App Store by searching for “Safer Schools” on their mobile phone, iPad or tablet, and then select “Middleton Park Primary” and then enter the code: Pupil – Primary KS2: 9342. Scan the QR code below to take you into the app.
As a school we will be sending out information via Groupcall to all parents with details on how parents and pupils can join their class group in the Safer Schools app which will enable one way messaging from the School and Class Teacher to parents and pupils.
